Jr. NTR has decided to follow Mahesh Babu’s example, it seems. Mahesh is asking producers to add his GMB as a production house for his future films.
That way, he will be getting the remuneration he is demanding as a producer of the film than as a hired actor.
Jr. NTR wants to honor his father, Nandamuri Harikrishna, who died in a road accident in 2018, as a producer, it seems.
As he heard the stories about his father used to executive produce for Ramakrishna Horticulture studios, established by his Grand Father, NTR, he wants to add his name to his next films as a producer, to give that aspect of his father’s career, a tribute it seems.
So, his production house will be called NHK Arts and it could appear on screen with Trivikram’s film which already has NTR Arts, his elder brother, Kalyanram’s production house as a partner.
Jr. NTR will donate some amount of his salary that he earns through NHK Arts to charities that his father used to run, it seems.
Kalyanram is happy with Jr. NTR’s decision it seems. RRR will not have NHK Arts name but from Trivikram Srinivas’s film, every film of NTR will have NHK Arts as the production partner, it seems.
This will increase the actor’s participation as a producer and his salary will be invested in the production cost, which he will take as a percentage in profits as a producer. Mahesh started this with Srimanthudu but decided to seriously continue with that from Sarileru Neekevvaru and Jr. NTR seems to be following the suite.
Already, Ram Charan as Konidela Productions and Allu Arjun as Geetha Arts banners. Will they also follow the same example from their next films? We don’t know yet.
