After wrapping up promotions for War 2, Jr NTR has shifted his complete focus to his magnum opus, Dragon, directed by Prashanth Neel.
The film began its first schedule in Kumta, Uttara Kannada, capturing breathtaking visuals of the Konkan coast and grand factory backdrops. However, unpredictable weather disrupted the outdoor shoot, prompting the team to shift base to Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad.
The biggest buzz surrounding the project is the construction of Jr NTR’s on-screen residence, reportedly built at a staggering ₹15 crore. Designed with curated artefacts, custom-made wall décor, and intricate colour palettes, the lavish set is poised to become one of the film’s visual highlights—perfectly aligned with Neel’s signature world-building.
Currently on a short festive break, Jr NTR will return to sets post-Vinayaka Chaturthi. The upcoming September schedule in Hyderabad is expected to be a month-long marathon filled with high-octane action sequences.
With Neel’s grand vision and Tarak’s star power, Dragon is fast emerging as one of the most ambitious Indian films ever attempted, raising massive anticipation among fans and cinephiles alike.
