Jubilee Hills police have registered a case against the sons of Legendary film director Late Dasari Narayana Rao for threatening to kill and for not settling the debt.
As per reports, Atluri Somasekhar Rao of Guntur district, who lives in Yellareddyguda, was close to Dasari Narayana Rao. When Dasari’s financial situation was not good in 2012, Somasekhar Rao gave Rs 2.10 crore to the director.
After Dasari’s death, in the presence of elders, the filmmaker’s sons Prabhu and Arun agreed to pay Rs 1.15 crore instead of Rs 2.10 crore. This agreement was done on November 13, 2018. However, they didn’t return the money as promised.
In the following suit, Somasekhar Rao went to Dasari’s residence at 46 Jubilee Hills Road on July 27th and asked Prabhu and Arun to return his money. But, the sons of Dasari threatened to kill him if he came home again. According to the victim’s complaint, the police have registered a case against Prabhu and Arun under various sections.
