Judge Stands In His Own Court As Criminal

Judicial system is facing a remark of life time, with this judge taking bribes to give bail to one of the top white collar criminal in the country. He is now standing in his own court as a criminal for that bail-for-sale scam.

Accused in Gali Janardhan Reddy’s bail-for-sale scam, CBI Court’s Chief Judge Pattabhi Ramarao is arrested by the ACB sleuths today early in the morning. Pattabhi has earlier worked as Judge in ACB Court, which is now going to hear his case. It is really a shame that he is standing in the same court where he worked as an accused and off course, a criminal. Pattabhi is booked under 120-B (criminal conspiracy), 34, 109 and 219 of the Indian Penal Code and sections 8, 9 & 13(1)(d), read with 13 (2) of PC Act for selling a judicial judgement.

ACB has intensified its probe into this scam and a team has left for Bangalore to arrest Gali’s brother Somasekhar Reddy. They have arrested retired judge Chalapathi Rao already before recovering crores of rupees from bank lockers.
