Just Asking: Will everyone be given the same treatment?

Kathi Mahesh is a very popular name in the Telugu states and needs no special introduction. He is mostly known for criticizing Jana Sena Chief Pawan Kalyan. Kathi Mahesh is a film critic and a film director as well, who is mostly known for his ‘paid criticisms’ against Pawan Kalyan. Of course, there are others as well, who are known to criticise Pawan Kalyan, after getting paid for it, but all of them are known to be affiliated with the YSRCP.

Recently, Kathi Mahesh sustained severe injuries in an accident in Nellore, and he is currently receiving treatment at a hospital in Chennai. It is interesting to note that someone who was injured in Nellore, has been taken to a hospital in Chennai, and not taken to any hospital in Andhra Pradesh. While these kinds of questions arent meant to be asked when it’s a person’s life that is at stake, these questions arise when the character of the person involved, is in question.

Kathi Mahesh has been banned from entering Hyderabad, due to his controversial statements against Lord Rama. He also worked very hard for the YSRCP, due to which Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy stepped in, and spent Rs. 17 Lakhs for Kathi Mahesh’s treatment in Chennai. Given that Kathi Mahesh’s hometown is Chittoor, Jagan may have helped him, considering Mahesh to be a citizen of AP. Jagan is said to have given this money from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund.

The AP government is now getting a lot of criticism for sponsoring Mahesh’s medical costs, given that he has made several controversial statements against Hindu Gods and Goddesses. Despite so many criticisms, the AP government continues to help Mahesh, which only now forces everyone to question if the same would be done if anyone else were injured.
