Fresh speculation is swirling around Kaithi 2, the highly anticipated sequel to the 2019 Tamil blockbuster Kaithi. According to social media buzz, the project may have hit a roadblock due to alleged creative differences between director Lokesh Kanagaraj and lead actor Karthi.
Kaithi was instrumental in establishing the Lokesh Cinematic Universe (LCU), which also includes films like Master and Vikram. Following the release of Coolie, Lokesh Kanagaraj reportedly envisioned a mega project starring both Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan. However, Rajinikanth recently clarified that while he is indeed collaborating with Kamal Haasan, the director has not been finalized, leaving Lokesh’s plans uncertain.
In the meantime, Lokesh is said to have revived the long-pending Kaithi 2. But news of the supposed differences between Karthi and the director has now taken social media by storm.
Despite the rumors, fans remain hopeful that the much-awaited collaboration between Lokesh Kanagaraj and Karthi will still come to fruition. Until an official update is released, the fate of Kaithi 2 continues to hang in suspense.
