The makers of Peddi have finally locked in a new release date after multiple postponements, bringing an end to ongoing speculation around its launch.
According to sources, the film is now scheduled to hit theatres on June 25, with premieres planned a day earlier in North America. The team reportedly held several rounds of discussions before finalizing the date, ensuring there would be no further delays.
The decision is said to have come after strong insistence from lead actor Ram Charan, who was keen on maintaining a June release window. Initially planned for April 30, the film was later postponed, and Ram Charan reportedly emphasized that any further delay could impact the film’s momentum and pre-release buzz.
An official announcement is expected once the remaining portions of the shoot are completed, including a special song featuring Shruti Haasan.
Despite the postponements, Peddi continues to generate strong buzz. The songs and teaser glimpses released so far have received a positive response, keeping audience interest high.
Directed by Buchi Babu Sana and produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru, the film is an action drama set against a sports backdrop.
