During the promotions of her film MAA, actress Kajol sparked curiosity by mentioning what she thought were the most haunted places around her. In an old interview that recently went viral, Kajol had casually remarked that she found Ramoji Film City “the most haunted” and wanted to leave the premises as soon as possible.
That light-hearted comment, however, created a stir on social media, leading to a surge of similar stories and experiences from other actors. Many began to wonder if Ramoji Film City really was haunted.
Setting the record straight, Kajol recently took to X to clarify her remarks:
“I’d like to address my earlier comment about Ramoji Film City, which was made during the promotions of my film MAA. I have filmed at Ramoji Film City multiple times over the years and have always found it to be an incredibly professional filmmaking environment. I’ve seen tourists enjoying their time there — it’s a wonderful destination that’s completely safe for families and children.”
Though Kajol did admit to feeling a spooky vibe at times during her stays, she assured everyone that her overall experience at RFC was positive. With this new statement, she hopes to put any lingering rumors to rest, confirming that Ramoji Film City is a safe, professionally-run, and enjoyable destination.
