Norm in Bollywood is that they will announce the release date of the movie during the time of shoot itself. Then they will work against time to make it happen. Because, theatres should be booked and hired at least 3 months in advance in Hindi tinsel towns unlike us, where we change release date just two days ahead of the scheduled date.Importing Bollywood’s strategy, Kick 2 is the first big-ticket entertainer here in Tollywood to work backwards to match a pre announced release date. Producer Nandamuri Kalyan Ram has set his eyes on May 28, 2015 to release Kick 2 across the globe. Director Surender Reddy and hero Raviteja will now work rigorously to meet that date. This will be the first of its kind in Tollywood if they meet that date. Because that will be like leading others by an example without changing their release dates as they like. Also that will not disturb or alter the positioning of any other small movies in the foray.
If Kalyan Ram succeeds in releasing Kick 2 on said date, it will be definitely an eye opener for many producers who generally dillydally with release dates due to various silly reasons. Let us hope he will succeed and start a new era of film-releasing in Tollywood.
