At the recent SIIMA Awards, Kamal Haasan confirmed that talks are underway with Superstar Rajinikanth for a highly anticipated multistarrer. Now, Rajinikanth has also officially hinted at the project. Speaking to the media outside the airport, he shared that the film is gradually taking shape.
When asked about collaborating with Kamal, Rajinikanth said, “Kamal and I have been planning to work together for quite some time. The film will be a joint production of Raj Kamal Films International and Red Giant Films.”
He further added, “We are waiting for the right story and the right director, after which the project will hit the floors.” Kamal Haasan had previously echoed similar sentiments, confirming the collaboration but refraining from revealing details about the story, director, or other aspects.
Social media, however, is abuzz with speculation that Lokesh Kanagaraj might helm the project. Having previously directed both legends, fans feel he is the ideal choice to handle such a monumental combination.
Neither Kamal nor Rajinikanth have officially disclosed the director yet, likely due to prior commitments of all parties involved. The film is expected to be announced once everything aligns perfectly, and when it materializes, it could become one of the biggest multistarrers in Indian cinema.
