
Makkal Needhi Maiam (MNM) chief Kamal Haasan is set to visit the site of the tragic stampede at a TVK rally in Karur and meet the families of the victims.
The incident, which occurred on September 27 at a rally addressed by top actor Vijay, the head of the fledgling Tamila Vettri Kazhagam (TVK), claimed the lives of 41 people and left over 50 injured.
As a Rajya Sabha MP, Haasan is expected to personally visit Velusamypuram, where the stampede took place, interact with local residents, and offer support to the affected families, according to MNM sources.
This visit underscores his commitment to addressing the concerns of the community during this difficult time.
