Not even patriotic films are set in true war backdrop when it comes to Telugu movies. We haven’t seen films like Soldier, Savin Private Ryan and other war films made by Telugu directors for Telugu screen. Upholding the pride of the tribe on the eve of India’s 69th Independence Day, both Krish and Varun Tej have given a true fantastic treat.
That is 1944. A soldier Veerababu starts writing a letter to Seetha garu from his bunker in a war-torn place during the II World War. He says, war is also love and there is no love without war. That sets everything in motion, as Varun Tej as a responsible soldier starts to rock, while director Krish brings this never before treat to Tollywood through “Kanche”.
Set for a worldwide release on October 2nd, “Kanche” is a period film, an experiment any other commercial hero would have not dared at early stage in his career, Krisha has projected Varun Tej in a new way altogether. It’s just an out of the world treat.
