Kangana Ranaut raged at International singing sensation Rihanna after she tweeted about present situation in India due to farmer’s protest. She reshared a CNN story regarding the Internet cut in the Delhi border areas of Singhu, Ghazipur, and Tikri – the epicenters amid farmers’ protest.
The tweet soon spread like wildfire garnering millions of reshares. Few twitteratis began fuming at Indian stars for not voicing out their concerns while lauding Rihanna for taking her time to address the issue. This seemingly added fuel to the fire.
Kangana replied to Rihanna’s tweet and wrote that no one would talk about it because they are terrorists who want to divide the country to make it more vulnerable for China to invade.“Sit down you fool, we are not selling our nation like you dummies” (sic), she added.
Rihanna on Tuesday said, “Why aren’t we talking about this?! #FarmersProtest” [sic]
To the unversed, since two months, millions of farmers have been protesting at the Delhi borders seeking the cancellation of three farm laws passed by the Parliament. At present, the Supreme Court has stayed the enforcement of the farm laws and formed a committee to resolve the ongoing uproar.
