Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut’s Twitter account has been suspended by the micro-blogging site. This action was taken after she recently posted messages that seem to have flouted the regulation guidelines on Twitter, reported a media portal.
In a row of messages, the actress had passed comments on the purported violence that occured in West Bengal after assembly election results were announced recently. Kangana had demanded president rule in West Bengal after Mamta Banerjee-led TMC won the recent election in the state, defeating BJP.
She made derogatory comments on West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee questioning that nothing was resolved after the violence that stirred up in the state.
Reacting vehemently to Twitter suspending her account, Kangana shared a video on Instagram and labelled the move against her as “death of democracy” with hashtags ‘Bengal Burning’ and ‘Bengal Violence’.
In addition to that, Kangana is also facing backlash from netizens for her recent tweet, asserting that people drawing oxygen from nature for oxygen cylinders during coronavirus should ‘return’ their share back to nature. She urged everyone to plant tress to compensate the loss too.
