
Manchu Vishnu’s ambitious project, Kannappa, has encountered a delay in its release schedule. Originally slated for an April 25 release, the film’s debut has been postponed due to the need for additional time to perfect a crucial sequence involving extensive visual effects.

In a statement shared on social media, Vishnu expressed his commitment to delivering a cinematic spectacle that meets the highest standards. He emphasized that Kannappa is a tribute to Lord Shiva’s greatest devotee, and the team is dedicated to presenting it in the most extraordinary way possible. Vishnu assured fans that the extra time taken will be worthwhile and requested their patience and support.
Directed by Mukesh Kumar Singh, Kannappa boasts a star-studded cast, including Mohanlal, Prabhas, Akshay Kumar (marking his Telugu film debut), and Kajal Aggarwal in special cameo appearances. The film also features Mohan Babu, R. Sarathkumar, and Brahmanandam in supporting roles.
The production team has assured that a new release date will be announced soon, as they work diligently to ensure the film’s quality and visual grandeur meet audience expectations.
