It is well known that the Celebrity Cricket League (CCL) is a popular Indian sporting tournament that brings together leading film industries from across the country. Top actors from different states represent their respective teams, making the league a unique blend of cricket and cinema that is held annually and followed with great enthusiasm by fans.
The tournament was conducted once again this year and concluded with the Karnataka team emerging as champions. The Karnataka Bulldozers, led by captain Kichcha Sudeep—who is also well-known to Telugu audiences for his roles in films like Eega and Baahubali—clinched the title in grand fashion. Reportedly, this victory comes after a long gap of 12 years and marks the team’s third CCL championship.
In the final, the Karnataka Bulldozers defeated the Bengal Warriors to lift the trophy and script a memorable chapter in the league’s history. Celebratory videos featuring Sudeep and the rest of the team have since gone viral on social media, clearly reflecting how special and emotional this win was for the Karnataka side.
It is also worth noting that despite Karnataka’s latest triumph, the Telugu Warriors remain the most successful team in the history of the Celebrity Cricket League, having won the championship a record four times so far.
