Kartikeya Gummakonda rose to fame with the blockbuster “RX100,” a film that became a cultural sensation and established him as one of Tollywood’s promising young stars. Following this success, he received several attractive offers, but none could match the massive impact of RX100.
In the following years, Kartikeya experimented with negative roles, portraying the antagonist in Nani’s Gang Leader and Ajith’s Tamil film Valimai. Unfortunately, these projects did not significantly boost his career. After the underwhelming response to last year’s Bhaje Vayu Vegam, he decided to take a break from acting.
Amidst speculation about his career, Kartikeya recently resurfaced on social media to thank fans for their birthday wishes. He also hinted at a comeback project, urging fans to stay patient.
Sharing an update, Kartikeya wrote:
“And for everyone, including me, who is waiting for the update of my next, all I can say for now is… WORK IS VERY MUCH IN PROGRESS!!”
