Kavitha Brings Big Twist To Delhi Liquor Scam!

When people started forgetting about the sensational liquor scam unearthed in the national capital Delhi it went through a big development after the investigating agency sent notices to Kavitha in connection with the case to appear before them for questioning. This made the case stay in the news yet again.

Now the case saw another twist. It was Kalvakuntla Kavitha who brought the twist. Replying to the notice served, the former MP said that she cannot appear before the CBI on Tuesday as the central agency asked. The reply she sent became a big topic.

In the reply she sent, Kavitha said that she will be available on the 11,12,14 and 15th of this month. Replying to the email sent by the CBI, Kavitha said that she did not find her name in the FIR copy which was uploaded on the website, and yet she is ready to cooperate with the questioning.

Saying that her schedule was fixed for the 6th of this month earlier, Kavitha said she cannot be present tomorrow and she is free next week. Probably this is the first time an accused in any scam gave options to the investigating agency on when she is free and when she can attend the questioning.

In the recent past, many people received notice from the agencies as far as the alleged scams are involved. But they followed the directives the agencies gave and attended the questioning. Even the Cabinet Ministers like Partha Chatterjee(West Bengal) and Manish Sisodia(Delhi) went to the offices of the investigating agencies and faced the questions.

But Kavitha proved she is different from others and wrote a reply to the CBI saying that she is not free on the date mentioned by the CBI and gave the dates where she is free and said she can attend the questioning.

Though nothing is confirmed it is said that Kavitha might have taken the legal opinion before writing the reply to the CBI on this. The alleged liquor scam in Delhi talks about the alleged irregularities in the process of giving licenses to companies to run liquor shops.
