Kavitha desperately wants some media attention

Poor Kavitha Kalwakuntla… Nothing seems to be working for her. Despite her father gifting her an MLC post through the easiest possible route, she is unable to make a mark in T politics. All her attempts to hog limelight in Telangana politics are coming to a naught for some reason or the other.

After she was elected an MLA, she was given the responsibility of winning the elections to the Singareni Employees Union. She did stay put in Ramagundam and Bellampalli and worked hard to woo the workers. But, Covid had brought everything to a grinding halt. So her talent went unproven. Later, she planned state-wide Hanuman Chalisa recitation on a large scale. The programme was to begin from Kondagattu in Karimnagar. However, sudden spurt in Covid cases has put a full stop to that programme. Meanwhile, she herself was down with Covid and went into a quarantine. Now, she has once again decided to get active.

This time she is going to inspect the construction of the over 4000 two-bedroom houses for which had sanctioned her MP Lads in Nukapalli Urban Colony in Jagityal. On Tuesday, she would visit these houses and inspect the progress of works. She is going to this colony in view of the negative feedback the media gave about these houses. One hopes at least this visit would give her the much-needed media traction.
