BJP MLA Alleti Maheshwar Reddy has made strong allegations against MLC K Kavitha, accusing her of playing a key role in a ₹2,000-crore land scam with the alleged support of the Congress government.
Speaking to the media, Maheshwar Reddy claimed that the state government not only ignored the irregularities but actively assisted Kavitha by ensuring that the required land parcels were transferred without obstruction. He further alleged that Kavitha’s husband Anil and senior Congress leader, as well as Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s close associate, A. V. Reddy, jointly executed what he called a “well-organised fraud.”
“This ₹2,000-crore scam is happening with the full backing of the government. They facilitated Kavitha’s land transfer and enabled the entire deal. This is a glaring example of corruption flourishing under Congress rule,” the BJP MLA said.
Maheshwar Reddy demanded a comprehensive probe and swift action against all those involved, including officials who allegedly supported the land transfer process.
The Congress government has not yet responded to the allegations.
