BRS leader and KCR’s daughter, Kalvakuntla Kavitha, has long been critical of Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan. Her disdain dates back to the early bifurcation days, when she made a series of controversial statements against the actor-turned-politician, even calling him “the Brahmanandam of politics.”
Now, more than a decade later, it’s clear that her opinion hasn’t softened. In a recent podcast interaction, Kavitha once again launched a sharp critique of Pawan Kalyan—particularly targeting his current ideological stance.
“I just can’t take him seriously,” she said. “He went from being a self-proclaimed Che Guevara idealist to a far-right politician. I’ve never seen a politician who contradicts himself on a daily basis like Pawan Kalyan. Unfortunately, he is the Deputy Chief Minister of the neighbouring state. I have absolutely no regard for him.”
What makes this even more interesting is the contrast in Kalyan’s relationship with Kavitha’s brother, KTR. The two leaders have publicly acknowledged their bond, often referring to each other as “brothers.” Despite this camaraderie, Kavitha has consistently distanced herself from such warmth, repeatedly voicing strong criticism of Pawan Kalyan.
Her latest remarks reaffirm that, regardless of political equations or family ties, her stance on the current Andhra Pradesh Deputy CM remains firmly unchanged.
