TRS, which is now BRS, had won two consecutive elections in the state and wants to achieve a hattrick. However, political observers feel that the ruling party might face a litmus test in the elections this time. The opposition parties are in a good position and want to defeat the BRS.
On top of this, the All India Majlis-E-Ittehadul Muslimeen abbreviation: AIMIM) is also said to be in plans to increase its base and contest more seats than it usually does. This can be a big concern for the ruling party BRS.
Seeing this, the BRS is flaunting its strength and building its image. BRS is also in plans to expand its range and become the national party. The party leadership is holding meetings in other states to show its strength. Recently, we have seen how KCR went to Maharashtra as a massive rally as hundreds of vehicles were used.
Amid this, Telangana IT Minister KTR made some interesting comments on the KCR government. KCR’s government is an amalgamation of the YSR and CBN governments. The Tech Savvy Minister said that what happened in the two Chief Ministers’ rulings is happening in the KCR government.
Kalvakuntla Taraka Rama Rao aka KTR highlighted the working style of late Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy and Nara Chandrababu Naidu as Chief Ministers and how their respective governments focused on different sectors.
“When Chandrababu Naidu was in power, he focused on business and gave a big push for this. Due to his push for business, he is called the CEO of the state. Talking about YS Rajasekhar Reddy, his government was pro-farmers and pushed rural development. KCR is doing what the two CMs did. Both the IT sector and Agriculture sectors are growing,” KTR said.
Of late, we are seeing a war of words between Andhra Pradesh and Telangana leaders. While the Telangana leaders are saying that the state is better than Andhra Pradesh, leaders there are not happy with this and they are hitting back. Amid this, KTR spoke about the two Chief Ministers of combined Andhra Pradesh and drew a comparison with his government.
