Here is the sneak peek of the proposed new Telangana secretariat. This new secretariat would cost a whopping Rs 300 crore to public exchequer and it is being planned to construct at the controversial Bison Polo lands in Hyderabad. It is proposed to construct three floor palatial building accommodating Chief Minister, Ministers, Secretaries and head of all departments.The design is conceived by a noted Mumbai based architecture firm.
Already, a section of social organisations and opposition parties are making a hue and cry against the new proposed secretariat as the existing secretariat is not so old and is in good shape, condition and it is alleged that the new secretariat would cost an additional burden on public money.
Meanwhile, trouble has begun with in the ruling party as CM is angry on R&B Minister T Nageswara Rao who has leaked the details to media even before CM has approved it. KCR was not happy with Minister Nageswara Rao for revealing the government plan to media when the proposal was yet to be finalised. KCR wanted to review the proposal with experts before it was made public.
It needs to be seen whether KCR would make any changes or would go with the current plan. At the moment, the new design of the Telangana secretariat is widely shared in political circuits.
