KCR, it appears has won the battle of perceptions when he managed to secure interviews with every top BJP leader, including PM MOdi and Amit Shah. Now, they have won another battle of perception when they made Union Minister for Civil Aviation Jyotiraditya Scindia to have his lunch in the Pragathi Bhavan. Despite the state BjP’s attempts, Scindia not only had lunch in Pragathi Bhavan, he even delayed the press conference at the BJP state headquarters by three hours.
This has made the state BJP nervous. In fact, its leaders have tried to stop Jyotiraditya Scindia from going to Pragathi Bhavan but Scindia was adamant. These two event happened even as state BJP President Bandi Sanjay is on a 50 day Padayatra. The yatra has targeted the TRS and KCR, but the national party is giving lot of importance to the very TRS against which the local leaders are fighting.
The only consolation is that the BJP ministers are not praising the TRS as they used to do earlier. The BJP leaders are now hoping that the September 17 tour of Amit Shah would focus only on the party activities. Amit Shah will join Bandi Sanjay’s yatra and then address the Hyderabad liberation day programme.
