Former Finance Minister, Health Minister of Telangana Etela Rajender who earlier grabbed the attention by making sensational comments against the TRS government did it yet again.
The other day, Etela visited Veenavanka village of Karimnagar and inaugurated the ‘Rythu Vedika’. At the event, the Health Minister opined that the Kalyani Lakshmi and pension schemes will not reduce the poverty. Rooting out poverty and empowering the people should be the agenda of the government, he said.
Adding further, the Health Minister said in his political career spanning two decades, he supported people who want to lend a helping hand to others. We should not talk about the help we make, but we should keep it in our hearts. I have never changed my heart, despite been troubled and hurt. Dharma and Justice will win at last, the Minister said.
Etela’s comments have sent shocking waves in the ruling TRS party. It is said that, after he made these sensational comments, IT Minister KTR directed by Chief Minister KCR took him to Pragathi Bhavan.
According to the media reports, the TRS boss pulled up the Health Minister and sought an explanation from him on the sensational comments he made against the government schemes.
