BRS president and Telangana movement leader K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) is celebrating his 71st birthday today, marking his second year out of power after serving as the state’s Chief Minister for over nine years. On this special occasion, his son and BRS working president K.T. Rama Rao (KTR) shared a heartfelt message, expressing admiration for his father’s remarkable journey.

KTR described KCR as not just his personal hero but also the hero of Telangana. “They say every father is their child’s hero. I am blessed that my father isn’t just mine alone but the hero of Telangana,” KTR wrote in an emotional note.

Reflecting on KCR’s relentless struggle for Telangana’s statehood, KTR added, “To dedicate your life to the dream called Telangana and achieve it against all odds, without a second thought for yourself, is truly inspiring. My only dream is to be even a fraction of what you are! My goal is to be the son whom you proudly call yours. I promise to strive every single moment to be worthy of this struggle, this state, and this legacy.”

With KCR gradually stepping back, the responsibility now falls on KTR to keep the party strong and relevant. Ensuring BRS remains a formidable force in Telangana will be the biggest tribute he can offer his father in the upcoming political battles.

As celebrations unfold across the state, BRS cadres are rallying to honor their leader. Warm birthday wishes pour in for the seasoned statesman, who remains an influential figure in Telangana’s political landscape.
