In the wake of strong criticism for not inviting Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu to the Global Entrepreneurship Summit held in Hyderabad, Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao decided to extend special invitation to his AP counterpart for World Telugu Conference begins December 15.
KCR instructed the officials to include Chandrababu’s name in the list of VVIPs and send a special invitation to him ahead of the conference.
The chief minister listed out the prominent personalities to be invited to the conference. Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu, Mauritius Vice President Pramasivan and Maharashtra Governor Sri Ch Vidyasagar Rao will attend inaugural function. President Ramanath Kovind will attend as chief guest at the valedictory function. All Telugu speaking CMs and Governors will also be included in the list of VVIP invitees.
The CM also finalised the design of the main dais at Lal Bahadur Stadium and Thoranams (hanging decorations) and wanted the inaugural valedictory functions to be done on a high scale.
