Keerthy Suresh recently revealed that despite the blockbuster success of Mahanati, she did not have a single new project lined up immediately after its release. “You won’t believe it, but after Mahanati released, I didn’t get any movie offers for six months. No one even narrated a story to me. I didn’t feel down, because I hadn’t done anything wrong. I took it positively, thinking people were taking time to craft a unique character for me. I used that gap for a makeover,” she shared in a recent interview.
Generally, actresses delivering such a hit are inundated with new film offers, but in Keerthy’s case, the success did not immediately translate into more opportunities, highlighting the unpredictable nature of the film industry.
