It has been a long time since Keerthy Suresh was last seen in a straight Telugu film — her previous outing being the 2023 release Bholaa Shankar. Now, she is all set to make a comeback with the OTT film Uppu Kappurambu, which will have its world premiere on Amazon Prime Video on July 4. The film stars Suhaas alongside Keerthy and is directed by Ani Sasi and produced by Radhika Lavu.
Meanwhile, speculation is rife about Keerthy Suresh joining the cast of Vijay Deverakonda’s upcoming film Rowdy Janardhana, directed by Ravi Kiran Kola and produced by Dil Raju. Recently, when asked about the rumours during the promotions of Uppu Kappurambu, Keerthy responded with a smile and said, “Dil Raju will answer that question.” The fact that she didn’t deny the rumour has led many to believe that she might indeed be a part of the project.
If confirmed, this would mark the first collaboration between Keerthy and Vijay in a lead role. Although both have appeared in films like Mahanati, Jathi Ratnalu, and Kalki 2898 AD, this would be the first time the two actors would share screen space. Fans are now eagerly waiting for an official announcement from Dil Raju about Keerthy’s role in Rowdy Janardhana.
