Former US President Barack Obama turned Santa Claus for young patients at the Children’s National Hospital in Northwest Washington DC on Wednesday. Wearing a Santa hat, Obama presented surprise gifts to the thrilled children.
Obama stopped by several play rooms and wards and personally visited all the children who are undergoing treatment. Kids and hospital staff sang Christmas carols and cheered for Obama while he carried a giant red sack full of gifts.
During his visit, Obama also broke his ‘no selfie’ principle and posed with all his excited young fans and staff and even out hugs to several children. The 44th American President’s kind gesture has broken the internet and the pictures have been going viral on social media platforms.
