India’s first woman IPS Officer Kiran Bedi, the former member of Team Anna, joined BJP adding fuel to the speculations that she might be pitted against AAP Chief Arvind Kejriwal in the upcoming Delhi Assembly polls.
Even BJP is seriously considering Kiran Bedi as the chief ministerial candidate of the party. BJP Leadership believes Kiran Bedi is the only match to Arvind Kejriwal in terms of charisma and popularity.
So, It expects huge gain in poll prospects after Kiran Bedi’s entry into party. However, Few Leaders openly oppose Kiran Bedi’s candidature citing her lack of organisational experience and dominant nature. Delhi Assembly Polls were scheduled to tae place on February 7th this year. Kiran Bedi to play a bigger role this time.
