Telangana political joint action committee (JAC) convenor Prof M Kodandaram, who has been maintaining stoic silence over the functioning of the Telangana Rashtra Samithi government headed by K Chandrasekhar Rao for quite some time, has now started coming out in the open against the TRS chief.
On Thursday, Kodandaram lashed out at the TRS government for deciding to shift Secretariat to Chest Hospital premises at Erragadda and shifting the hospital to Vikarabad citing Vasthu problems. “KCR should remember that he has come to power on the basis of Constitution.
He has to act according to the Constitutional provisions and not Vasthu theories. He has to respect people’s sentiments, rather than his own sentiments,” he said. Kodandaram warned that the KCR government should not play havoc with the topography of Hyderabad city in the name of modernization.
“He should not trouble people on the pretext of converting Hyderabad into a global city. The Chief Minister should take into consideration ground realities before thinking of skyscrapers,” he said.
