Indian run machine, Virat Kohli continues to smash records and score tons. In his 28th One Day International, Kohli trumps Sachin Tendulkar’s records.
The ODI against West Indies was held at Sabina Park on Thursday. The score of 111 helped Kohli to stand at equal position of Sanath Jayasuruya’s total of 28 tons. He left behind him Tendulkar with 49 tons.
Not just nationally, Kohli excels Ab De Villers, Ricky Pointing, Hashim Amla, Kumar Sangakkara in list of most ODI centuries.By hitting 18 hundreds in a chase, Kohli broke the records of Tendulkar of 17 hundred.
While Sachin, former skipper, took 232 innings to get so far, Kohli did it hust in 102 innings. He is also a player most of the times not out in chases in a bid to score centuries.
