New developments and names are coming out in the YS Vikekananda Reddy’s Murder Case ever since the Central Agency Central Bureau of Investigation(CBI) took over the case from the Andhra Pradesh Crime Investigation Department (CID).
A new name surfaced in connection with the case. One Krishnamachari, who is a businessman by profession had recorded his testimony before the Proddatur Court in connection with the Murder Case. His testimony is the third one to be recorded in the case. He runs a hardware shop in Anantapur’s Kadiri.
The tools that are said to have been used in the murder case were reportedly purchased in Krishnamachari’s hardware shop. To clear the doubt on this, the Central Bureau of Investigation(CBI) officials produced him before the court for the statement. Before this, he was quizzed by the officials.
The media reports say that Krishnamachari was quizzed by the CBI officials for a few days in this case as part of the probe. After counter-checking the facts he mentioned in his information, the CBI produced him before the court. The R&B Guest House in Pulivendula and Kadapa Jail Guest House are hosting the questioning.
Earlier, Sunil Yadav, one of the main accused in the case was arrested by the CBI officials. The official’s efforts to conduct narco analysis for the accused couldn’t progress as the Court refused the petition filed by the CBI seeking directives in this regard.
Sunil Yadav was arrested by the CBI after a big task by tracing the details of the whereabouts of Sunil Yadav. Post his arrest in Goa, he was shifted to Andhra Pradesh’s Kadapa after seeking permission from the local court in Goa. He was earlier grilled by the officials in the case.
The CBI had earlier produced YS Vikekanada Reddy’s watchman Rangaiah and former driver Dastagiri before the court to record their statements. Even after months of probing, the main accused or the key conspirator in the much-talked-about murder case is still unknown.
After their testimony, the CBI had arranged for special protection for the duo sensing that they might face any attacks as they reportedly shared valuable and crucial information in the case.
