In a recent interview, actress Neha Dhupia made an interesting revelation about her long-time friend Saif Ali Khan. Although Saif maintains a public image of staying away from social media, Neha disclosed that he secretly runs a private account and occasionally checks comments and discussions about himself online. She recalled a conversation from nearly five to six years ago when Saif admitted that he quietly keeps track of online chatter. Playfully warning her, he had joked, “The cybercrime department people are going to find you,” while also predicting that trolling would soon become a major problem — a prediction that has undeniably come true.

Neha also pointed out that even celebrities who are not active on social media, such as Ranbir Kapoor and Aamir Khan, are not spared from online negativity. “Even if you’re offline, trolling and AI misuse affect you,” she said, highlighting how technology has magnified hate and blurred personal boundaries.

She further addressed the rising threat of deepfakes — digitally manipulated videos and images increasingly used to target public figures, particularly women in the entertainment industry. While the trend is deeply concerning, Neha expressed relief that authorities have finally started taking action against such digital abuse.

Reflecting on her own journey with online criticism, Neha shared that over the years she has developed thick skin. “Ab farak nahi padta — it doesn’t matter anymore,” she said, emphasizing the need for emotional resilience. According to her, stars today must strike a careful balance between visibility and mental well-being.
