Krithi Shetty rose to stardom with her blockbuster debut in “Uppena,” and her success continued with hits like “Shyam Singha Roy” and “Bangarraju.” However, she soon faced a string of failures, including her latest film, “Custody,” with Naga Chaitanya.
Despite this challenging phase in her career, Krithi continues to receive promising offers. She has now signed a new Tamil film titled “Genie” with renowned actor Jayam Ravi. The movie will be produced by Vels Production, a significant production banner, and is set to become the most expensive film in Jayam Ravi’s career.
Jayam Ravi recently appeared in Mani Ratnam’s “Ponniyin Selvan 2,” which released worldwide on April 28. Producer Ishari K Ganesh announced his collaboration with Jayam Ravi for the 32nd film, “Genie,” with a staggering budget of Rs 100 crore.
During a recent media interaction, the producer hinted at the inclusion of music maestro AR Rahman as the composer for the film. “Genie” will be helmed by Bhuvanesh Arjunan, a former associate of director Mysskin.
Krithi Shetty’s association with a prestigious project like “Genie” alongside Jayam Ravi and the backing of a renowned production house holds immense promise for her career. With the talented team behind the film, fans and industry experts eagerly anticipate the release of this high-budget venture.
