Former Telangana IT Minister and current BRS Working President, K.T. Rama Rao (KTR), appeared before the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) in Hyderabad today as part of the ongoing investigation into the Formula E race scam allegations.
This marks the second round of questioning for KTR in connection with the case, and today’s developments are seen as crucial to the ongoing probe. The case revolves around allegations that KTR verbally approved an illegal financial transaction involving the Telangana government and a foreign company during the organization of the Formula E event.
Ahead of his appearance, KTR took a political dig at Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, implying that the investigation is politically motivated. In a strongly worded tweet, KTR said,
“Will never be deterred by your enquiries, commissions and political vendetta. We BRS party will continue to expose the hollowness of #420 promises, deceptive declarations, and never-to-be-trusted Six Guarantees. Bring it on Revanth.”

KTR’s tweet suggests he believes CM Revanth Reddy is orchestrating the investigation as part of a political vendetta, further intensifying the ongoing political friction between the BRS and the Congress government.
Adding another layer of complexity, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) has also sought details related to the case, citing potential international money laundering links.
