Telangana Rashtra Samithi(TRS) working president KTR, who holds the Municipal Administration & Urban Development, Industries & Commerce, and Information Technology is focusing on attracting more investments to the state and he is not leaving any stone unturned in this regard.
Thanks to his efforts, Telangana received a massive investment of Rs 1,000 from a leading firm. A textile manufacturing unit will be set up in the Warangal region of Telangana. This is an initial investment and more investments will follow.Leading textile manufacturer Kitex Group MD Sabu Jacob and other officials held meetings that lasted for hours with KTR in Hyderabad and discussed various issues about making the investments.
It has been widely reported that the company MD and officials were invited to Hyderabad in a special jet and during the meeting, KTR explained to them various facilities available in the state to make investments.Sabu Jacob has been looking for other states to make investments after he locked horns with the Kerala government over the alleged obstacles caused by the Pinarayi Vijayan government in the state.
The 1,000 crore investment will be invested in Warangal’s Kakatiya Mega Textile Park in a phased manner in the next two years. The multi-crore investment is expected to create over 4,000 jobs in Telangana.The textile company MD openly accused the government of causing troubles and said that he was kicked out by the Kerala government from the state. He made a big statement that Kerala is an Industry friendly state.
Stating that they are into the textile business for more than five decades, Kitex Group MD Sabu Jacob said, while the world has changed and progressed, the state is lagging behind by 50 years.After he became critical of the Kerala government over the alleged obstacles caused by the government, other states have been making their moves to see that the multi-crore investments will be made in their state.
However, Telangana had won the race as KTR made his move quickly and invited the MD and key officials for the meeting. The company MD expressed his happiness over the facilities in the state and said, as the first phase Rs 1,000 crore investment will be made in Warangal.
