Irrfan Khan’s wife, Sutapa Sikdar shared a heartfelt note on his untimely passing at the age of 53 from a colon infection that he had battled with for over two years.
The note had contributions from the couple’s sons, Babil and Ayaan too. Sutapa’s note was appreciated for the honesty with which she had recounted her journey with Irrfan and all the lessons he had imparted to their sons. Actress Lakshmi Manchu was overwhelmed the note and expressed herself on Twitter.

Sharing the note, she wrote, “This is the most beautiful note I have ever read. Made me weep so hard while I had a smile on my face. More strength to you Sutapa ji babil and Ayaan. Love love and only love” (sic) Fans posted their goodbyes to the actor.
