After a lot of dilly-dallying at last, AP CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has got the appointment of Union Home Minister Amit Shah. Jagan was supposed to meet Shah on Monday. However, his appointment has been pushed to today. Jagan met Shah and wished him on his birthday.
AP CM Jagan said to have listed out some state issues to Union Home Minister and sought his support to the state. Jagan said to have informed Shah about the ‘Reverse Tendering’ followed in Polavaram Irrigation project and how the state has saved Rs 700 Crore in it. Jagan sought the pending funds from the Centre to the state. However, it is reported that AP CM hasn’t got due promise from Amit Shah.
Along with Jagan, Rajya Sabha MP Vijay Sai Reddy, and Lok Sabha MPs PV Midhun Reddy, YS Avinash Reddy, Bharat were also went to meet Shah. Complete details regarding the meet are awaited.
