Late CM Dr YS Rajasekhar Reddy‘s personal aide and follower, Sureedu was attacked in his residence at Jubilee Hills in Hyderabad.
His son-in-law, Dr. Surendranath, who forcibly entered his house in Jubilee Hills, attempted to assassinate Sureedu with a cricket bat.
As per reports, Sureedu’s daughter Ganga Bhavani got married to Surendranath a few years back. As things didn’t go well with the couple and they have been living separately for quite a time now.
Alleging harassment, Ganga Bhavani came to her father’s house and lodged a domestic violence case against her husband.
However, Surendranath has been pressuring his wife and Sureedu to withdraw the case against him. As they refused to do so, Surendranath attacked Sureedu in his residence. Jubilee Hills police have registered a case of attempted murder following a complaint by Ganga Bhavani.
