In a tragic incident on Monday, Mark Shankar Pawanovich, the young son of Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan, was injured in a fire accident at his school in Singapore. The 7-year-old sustained burns on his hands and legs, along with smoke inhalation, which caused breathing difficulties. Thankfully, Singapore authorities responded swiftly, evacuating all children safely and transferring them to the hospital. Mark is currently under medical care and reported to be in stable condition.
The incident has triggered an outpouring of support and concern from political leaders across party lines. YSRCP Chief Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, known for his political rivalry with Pawan Kalyan, took to social media to express his shock and concern. Referring to him respectfully as “Pawan Garu,” Jagan offered heartfelt prayers for Mark’s speedy recovery, emphasizing the importance of standing with the family during such a difficult time.
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu also expressed deep concern upon learning of the incident. He shared that the news of Mark’s injuries had troubled him greatly and conveyed his prayers and support to Pawan Kalyan and his family.
Nara Lokesh was among the first to respond publicly. In his message, he expressed shock over the news and extended his best wishes for Mark’s quick recovery, also assuring support to the family during this emotional period.
