LG Unveils Cloud Gaming Portal with Xbox for Smart TVs in India

LG has officially introduced its new Gaming Portal in India, marking a major step toward console-free cloud gaming for Smart TV audiences. Integrated into LG’s webOS platform, the portal unifies over 4,000 cloud-streamed titles and more than 600 free-to-play games, offering an all-in-one destination for gamers.

The launch is led by the arrival of the Xbox app on LG Smart TVs, enabling players to stream blockbuster titles directly from the cloud – without requiring a dedicated gaming console. With an Xbox Game Pass subscription, a compatible controller, and a stable high-speed internet connection, users can instantly access popular titles such as Forza Horizon 5, Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, and the India-inspired Raji: An Ancient Epic.

“We’re thrilled to bring LG Gaming Portal with Xbox to LG Smart TVs in India,” said Brian Jung, Director at LG Media Entertainment Solution Company. “The Gaming Portal is designed to make gaming more accessible, convenient, and enjoyable for everyone, from hardcore gamers to casual players.”

LG’s latest Smart TVs enhance cloud gaming performance with features such as G-Sync compatibility, up to 165Hz VRR, Intertek-certified 0.1ms response time, AMD FreeSync Premium, and Clear MR 10000 on select models.

The Gaming Portal and Xbox app are currently rolling out across compatible 2021–2025 LG webOS TVs, with availability set to expand through software updates across major Indian markets. Users can launch the portal directly from the LG home screen and begin playing through an Xbox Game Pass subscription.
