Chiranjeevi’s Mega157 Gears Up for Sankranthi 2026
Megastar Chiranjeevi and director Anil Ravipudi have teamed up for the first time for a full-on entertainer titled Mega157, jointly bankrolled by Sahu Garapati’s Shine Screens and Sushmita Konidela’s Gold Box Entertainments.
After wrapping up the initial schedule in Hyderabad, the film’s unit has now moved to Mussoorie for the next phase of shooting. In the Hyderabad schedule, Chiranjeevi along with a few other actors shot several hilarious sequences under Anil Ravipudi’s direction. Now, lead actress Nayanthara, comedian VTV Ganesh, and several other actors have joined the Mussoorie schedule, where more fun-filled scenes will be filmed.
Chiranjeevi, who has predominantly played mass and action-oriented roles in recent years, is returning to his comedy roots after a long time. Fans are eagerly waiting to watch him in a completely humorous avatar, which promises to be a complete treat.
A recently released video glimpse shows Chiranjeevi sitting atop a table in a school playground while school children in uniform walk toward him. The visuals radiate warmth and are elevated by Bheems Ceciroleo’s soothing background score. As always, Chiranjeevi’s screen presence is unmatched, blending charm and style effortlessly.
Cinematographer Sameer Reddy is handling the visuals, while Bheems Ceciroleo is composing the music for this highly anticipated film. Mega157 is slated for a grand Sankranthi 2026 release.
