It has been over three months since Megastar Chiranjeevi’s last release, yet there is still no clarity on when his next film will arrive in theatres. Uncertainty continues to surround his long-delayed socio-fantasy thriller Vishwambhara, while the much-talked-about Mega158 has also faced repeated delays in its launch.

Initially planned for a Sankranti release last year, Vishwambhara was postponed to rework its VFX after the first glimpse received a mixed response. However, even after a long wait, the makers have not announced a new release date. The lack of updates, especially during major festivals, has gradually reduced the buzz around this big-budget project. Despite being helmed by talented director Mallidi Vassishta and backed by UV Creations, the prolonged silence is raising concerns among fans.

Interestingly, another film from the same banner, Biker, starring Sharwanand, recently released and received a positive response. This has further increased expectations for Vishwambhara, with fans urging the makers to begin promotions soon before the hype fades completely.

On the other hand, Chiranjeevi’s project with director Bobby Kolli has also been delayed, reportedly due to the producer’s commitments with Jana Nayagan, starring Vijay. Tentatively referred to as Mega158, this film has already generated strong anticipation, especially after Bobby delivered a blockbuster with Waltair Veerayya.

Mega fans are eagerly waiting for both projects to move forward, particularly as Bobby has promised to present Chiranjeevi in a powerful mass avatar once again. With time ticking and several big films locking their release dates, it is crucial for the teams behind Vishwambhara and Mega158 to start making noise soon and reassure fans.
