LLP & Radio Stations Conflict: Nagarjuna Creates Ripples

Today morning, out of the blue, Akkineni Nagarjuna and Rakul Preet appeared at RED FM to launch his new song from the film Manmadhudu 2. And that gave various doubts to people because an ongoing war between Hyderabad’s FM Radio Stations and Producers LLP headed by Dil Raju hasn’t reached any conclusion yet.

With Radio Stations not interested to air Film ads at cheap rates, Producers LLP (happening producers who make films continuously) decided not to give either film content or send film stars to radio stations. But now, Nagarjuna has defied everything and stepped into Red FM to release the second song from the film Manmadhudu 2.

That brings us to the question, whether Nagarjuna moved out of LLP and agreed to the terms laid by FM stations to pay huge bucks to promote a film. With the lack of songs and interviews related to recent releases like Oh Baby and Dear Comrade, the buzz around those films got hit a bit for sure. Maybe that made Nagarjuna move out of LLP and promote his film (he’s the producer of the movie too) in his style.

On the other hand, there is a doubt if Red FM has come out of the FM Radios Asociation to make sure that they get stars to their channel is another doubt raised. Though radio stations get more ads business outside films, presence of Film Stars actually create interest and entertains radio audiences more.

Sources connected to Manmadhudu 2 revealed that as one of the producer Gemini Kiran is close to Red FM from a long time, he paid a bomb to the station to promote the movie. However, with Kiran and Nagarjuna being a member of LLP, they are a bit concerned about the way the issue might spin.

And then, with Red FM breaking the association norms and entertaining Nagarjuna, now other stations might feel the pressure of missing out celeb interviews and might give up their cause.
