Looks like the Hyderabadis are not taking the lockdown seriously. Since the imposition of lockdown from March last week, the Hyderabad Traffic cops have seized nearly 5000 vehicles yet there is no sign of change in the situation.
On Tuesday, massive traffic jam appeared from Kukatpally to Erragadda with many four and more wheelers coming on the roads. The cops were stunned by such large number of vehicles on roads and have seized most of the vehicles for not having a valid reason.
Commissioner of Police Sajjannar was there at the spot of this traffic jam and directed the police personnel not to leave anyone for being reckless. Sajjannar said the seized vehicle will be let free only after the lockdown is lifted and if people are still not bothered, then we are considering to impose a fine of Rs 50,000.
