For quite some time, Chandrababu Naidu has been regarded as one of the most progressive and visionary chief ministers in India. He is widely credited for transforming Hyderabad into a global city, and now, all eyes are on his ambitious plan to do the same with Amaravati.

However, doubts occasionally arise about the feasibility of building such a massive capital region, as seen during a national conclave last night when IT Minister Nara Lokesh attended the event. A media personality asked him, “Chandigarh was the last properly planned and executed city in India. Building a new capital like Amaravati seems extremely challenging. Don’t you think it’s a daunting task?”

Responding with composure and clarity, Lokesh explained that his father’s track record speaks for itself. “Babu Garu has a proven reputation for building cities with global standards. He transformed Hyderabad, Secunderabad, and Cyberabad into thriving hubs, and now, he’s doing the same with Vijayawada, Guntur, and Amaravati. This triangular capital city concept is going to thrive,” Lokesh stated.

He went on to add that Amaravati’s capital design was developed in collaboration with Singapore’s urban planning authorities, known worldwide for creating world-class cities. Lokesh also highlighted that the city’s location along the picturesque banks of the Krishna River would enhance its beauty and global appeal, making Amaravati a symbol of progress and vision for Andhra Pradesh.
