After Chandrababu Naidu’s recent trip to Delhi as part of the local election campaign, it’s now the turn of IT Minister Nara Lokesh to visit the national capital. Lokesh arrived in Delhi and has already met with Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav.

This significant meeting between Lokesh and the Railway Minister comes a day after the Railway Ministry allocated a substantial ₹9417 crore to enhance Andhra Pradesh’s railway network.

Lokesh was accompanied by his colleagues, Ram Mohan Naidu and Pemmasani Chandrasekhar, during this visit to the Railway Minister’s office.

Traditionally, it is Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu who represents the Andhra Pradesh government on official visits to Delhi. However, this time, it is Lokesh who has taken the lead. His visit signals a potential shift, as he is expected to meet with several other union ministers as well.

With growing speculations about Lokesh’s increasing prominence, such visits could play a vital role in strengthening the state’s connection with the central government and laying the groundwork for further support. Short trips like this could significantly enhance the government’s ability to secure positive outcomes at the central level.
