The concept of Jagan 2.0 has been making the rounds, with Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy frequently stating that he plans to redefine himself and introduce a revamped version of his leadership the next time he holds office. In a recent meeting with his party supporters, Jagan claimed that his future avatar, Jagan 2.0, would be vastly different from his previous approach, signaling a new modus operandi.
However, IT Minister Nara Lokesh wasted no time responding to this claim with his signature wit and humor. When asked about Jagan’s promise to unveil Jagan 2.0, Lokesh quipped, “Jagan 1.0 was so pathetic that people didn’t want him as CM again. That’s why he was given just 11 seats. If 1.0 only got him 11, we can only imagine what 2.0 will do!”
Lokesh also made a playful remark in Telugu, “CM ga unnapudu ilage naa Ventruka kuda peekaleru annadu, prajalu aa 1.0 ni kuda peekesaru”, humorously pointing out the shortcomings of Jagan’s first term.
On Jagan’s request to be allocated the Opposition Leader status, Lokesh firmly responded, stating that the people had already made their decision, and the government had no intention of overruling it. He emphasized that there was no chance of granting Jagan the opposition status.
Taking his jabs a step further, Lokesh issued a challenge to the Pulivendula MLA, questioning the investments brought in during Jagan’s five-year tenure, and offered a comparison with the investments his own government had secured in just five months. “Jagan garu, shall we debate the investments you brought in during your entire term and compare them to the investments we brought in just 5 months? Are you ready to come to the Assembly to discuss this?” he asked, fueling the already buzzing conversation.
Lokesh’s clever and satirical comments on Jagan’s 2.0 and other political matters have already garnered attention, keeping the political landscape lively and filled with humor.
